2005 BadBlog Awards

Y’know, with my current state of blogging/blogosphere burnout, I think I really ought to do a Blog Awards thing of my own. Say, the 2005 BadBlog Awards, or something. (Not to be taken as a slam on the normal Weblog Awards, which I think is a good thing.) Something to highlight the ugliness that exists, so the Uglies get some undeserved attention. In fact, let’s call it “The Uglies,” like “the Oscars.”

Oh, yeh, I did peruse one blog just to see if it had anything to say, cos of some nasty comments on another blog. Was worthless and managed by a liar, but playing tarbaby with ‘em would be a waste of time.
But I do agree with Don Surber’s proud self assessment as the Link Whore of the Blogosphere. Good job, Don!
If you (group “you” folks) are still stuck using “Internet Exploder, the world’s crappiest browser” ya might well think my blog’s worrthy of Worst Design. If so, get a real browser.

And I’m not afraid to talk about Rush’s oxycontin addiction (not heroin, stupid). I was on Oxycontin for a couple years myself (check the “about” page for why), so I know it’s not “hillbilly heroin.” Those who abuse it piss me off. You know what they say about ASSuming things, LA. You’ve pretty much personified it.
