Murtha’s no convert

Well, well, well. Big news in the “mainstream” media and blogs today about Rep. John Murtha’s “important speech on Iraq.

Guess what. This isn’t news. A year and a half ago he was saying the war is “unwinnable.” What next, are we going to hear news that Nancy Pelosi had a conversion to the “antiwar” side? Is this only newsworthy because the LLL is getting called on their lies now? I QUESTION THE TIMING!!!

Maybe it will be “unwinnable,” if the left and the left-wing “mainstream” media has their way. Not on the battlefield, but in the court of US public opinion. We own the battlefield, but that doesn’t matter to them–the war, the battlefield, and worst of all, the troops are just political props for these farking sick bastards. I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: they WANT us to lose, so they can claim some kind of sick victory for themselves.

Jeff Goldstein:

The point is, we are starting to lose the homefront because of a relentlessly negative media and a cynical and opportunistic minority party that have together assumed control of the narrative and managed, in so doing, to convince many Americans of the “truths” this alliance has invented out of whole cloth.

Rusty Shackelford:

I am a bit pissed myself at the far more serious prospect of withdrawing from Iraq before we have crushed our enemies and left a legacy to that country that we can be proud of.

We are under obligation to our dead comrades in Iraq. If we do not finish the job, they will have died in vain. There are worse things than dying in war, dying in a lost war is one of them.

I’m back. Driven to blog by all this defeatist bullshi’ite coming out of the Democrats’ mouths. Administrations do not wage wars, nations do. So, yes, not supporting the war is the same as not supporting the nation you treasonous twits. We are at war, and the last time I checked the Democrats were a part of we. Until we win this war I will do my part.

You ever wonder why I put “antiwar” in scare quotes? They’re not antiwar, they eat this shi’ite up. It gives them a purpose. They need Bush (and Cheney, Rumsfeld, Rice, etc.) like they need this war because it gives them something to fight against and claim victory, because they have nothing else worth saying, no agenda. If it weren’t so dangerous, it would be laughable.

F.E.T.E.

So, my fears are coming to pass. The relentless pounding of the Democrats, aided by the “useful idiots” in the media has turned support for the war into a call for immediate withdrawal.

Just like Vietnam, we will leave those who allied themselves with us without support. Like that conflict, untold numbers will be murdered for supporting the allies after that withdrawal.

The terrorists, and more likely Iran, will win and the purges will begin. That blood will be on the hands of Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi ,John Murtha and their media allies.
