I don’t even give a shi’ite any more about Harriet Miers because of all the shrieking, but I’ll count myself in the “I support the Miers nomination” column (at the TTLB) for the linked reasons here. Rich Casebolt says it well here:
…my support is based on more than trusting my President; it is also based on strategic/tatical considerations for this important political battle.
And by the way, I DO trust this President. Thatisall (because I’m sick of the discussion).
