September Straw Poll - Tag the vote

Patrick Ruffini’s latest 2008 straw poll is up, and this time you have the option of “tagging” your vote. Basically, this means you can put in a few words describing your primary issues as “tags,” and then filter poll results by each tag. For example, you can see how those who tagged “Iraq” as one of their important issues voted.

Some of the tags used: conservative, libertarian, moderate, pro-life, pro-choice, war on terror, Iraq, defense, lower taxes, flat tax, illegal immigration, pro-immigration, Catholic, Christian, pro-gun, pro-military, national security, small government, etc. (Note that the results will be more meaningful if you use one of the already-used tags–so sorry, spelling does count!) ;-)

For the main ballot, the candidates listed are:
George Allen, Haley Barbour, Sam Brownback, Bill Frist, Rudy Giuliani, Chuck Hagel, Mike Huckabee, John McCain, Tim Pawlenty, George Pataki, Mitt Romney, and Tom Tancredo.

For the “fantasy ballot,” the choices listed are:
“Keep My Vote the Same,” Jeb Bush, Dick Cheney, Condoleezza Rice, Mark Sanford, and Fred
Thompson.

Here are a few campaign slogans I just cooked up:

Institutionalize a Moonbat: Vote Jeb Bush

Kill a Commie: Vote Jeb Bush(may use “hippie” or “anarchist” or “dhimmi” in place of “Commie”)

Vote BDS: Jeb Bush 2008

I’m telling you, Karl Rove and Lee Atwater (pbuh) have got nothin’ on me.

just because I like stirring the pot…I can’t stand the current leaders. Giuliani and Rice are social moderates….and I can’ts stands me no moderates. sure, you can round out the ticket with a little eye candy (Dick Cheney, rowr!), but I like my taxes low, my terrorists dead, and my liberals scared I’m gonna take away all their rights.
