Technorati Bombing
Via Instapundit, there’s an effort to “Technorati-bomb” the John Roberts nomination.
Earlier this morning the Andrew R—-j campaign sent out an email asking people to post about the candidate for public advocate on their blogs tagged with “R—-j”. Then they were asked to run some searches over at Technorati.
…
This is an interesting experiment, though. I hope my fellow bloggers will join in with the coming John Roberts SCOTUS hearings. Let’s see how we can work with this knowledge to virally spread our opposition to Roberts using these blog and search tools to the max.
Do these people really think they’re going to kill the nomination/confirmation process with Technorati-bombing?
OK, let’s play their silly little game. Tag your Roberts/SCOTUS entries with “John Roberts” or “SCOTUS.” That’s it. (And no, I’m not tagging this one at all.)
Use this:
<a href=“http://technorati.com/tag/John+Roberts” rel=“tag”>John Roberts</a>
or this:
<a href=“http://technorati.com/tag/SCOTUS” rel=“tag”>SCOTUS</a>
Of course, if you have a blog category for either, that will work without special tags.

SO WHAT?!?
I don’t understand this at all. does anybody on the left even READ the Constitution and stuff like that? it’s not an election; it’s a confirmation hearing. Lordiddly, it’s amazing how the whole political system has been muddled. Thomas Jefferson would roll in his grave…
oh, and about Technorati-bombing…I’d be AMAZED if they could get that to work. I’ve been getting the same three posts for my blog for the past two weeks. not that there isn’t a lot of activity on my blog…it’s just that getting a hit in Technorati is roughly akin to hitting one side of the bowling alley then the other on the same roll. Technorati sucks.

I recently recieved an email from one of our supporters. They were concerned that I don’t show enough appreciation to my supporters by linking to them more often. They wondered if all I care about is traffic. That is not the case. Traffic is…

You know, you really struck a chord. Technology will not influence outcomes- only ideas can do that.
Blogs work because because they are idea based.
Chrenkoff, for example, used an blogger template- no more no less- and reached a lot of people.
The good blogs, irrespective of what they look like, are about ideas- not the design or the technology.
We are the pamphleteers of this era- and the cream will rise to the top.

Yeah, they actually do think it will change things. The left thinks that their insane petitions, like the DSM one from nutty Conyers, will actually make a change. I would be amazed if those petitions are even sent to the Pres.
The wackos think that their insane rhetoric at places like the DU make a difference in getting the liberal agenda done. They are such poor, misguided, loony, loopy, wacko, insane, yahoos.
