I watched Tony Blair’s press conference this morning, and needless to say, it did nothing to help my insomnia–I was energized by it.

“The rules of the game are changing.” Well, of course they changed long ago, but I suspect Blair was issuing a reminder to those who still insist on coddling terrorists. Good for him for wanting to tighten immigration and citizenship requirements–we could stand more of that ourselves. It’s appalling though, how foreigners emigrate to the UK (and here, and other countries as well) and expect to still live as though they’re in their motherland, only with greater freedom to destroy that which welcomes them. And definitely good for him for working to get the scum out of the UK!

I have to wonder, since he wants to crack down on those who encourage hate (and terror), will George Galloway finally be dealt with? He’s as guilty as any Islamist of hateful rhetoric, himself. The guy ought to be tried for treason.

Of course, there are those who oppose the new measures (as he said he knew would happen). And of course, the terrorist groups who are being banned have words; get a load of this shi’ite:

Hizb ut-Tahrir has a record of over 50 years of following a method of non-violent political activity against imperialism and dictators and despots who rule the Muslim world with the West’s approval. In its work to establish the Islamic Caliphate, Hizb ut-Tahrir has never resorted to any sort of armed struggle and nor has it ever incited people to kill innocent civilians. It has throughout its history worked through intellectual and political means while its members have been tortured and killed in the thousands.

“Non-violent political activity.” That’s just rich. And “never incited people to kill innocent civilians.” Sure, because non-Muslims aren’t innocent, right? Whatever.

I just hope Tony Blair’s starting the discussion sparks the same discussion here. It’s long past time to stop tiptoeing around the issue of the Islamic threat. Sure, we’ve got the Patriot Act, but still it’s considered politically incorrect to speak the TRUTH–that it IS Islamic extremism we’re fighting, and that those who sympathize with them ARE terrorist enablers and nothing less. I’m sick and tired of people ignoring reality in favor of some lofty utopian ideal of “equality.” There IS such a thing as right vs. wrong, and the dhimmis who pretend that the terrorists’ values are somehow morally equivalent or valid are just as guilty of threatening our freedom, our way of life, as the terrorists who want to establish the Islamic Caliphate, by enabling them under the guise and cover of “freedom.” Bullshi’ite. I’m sick and tired of these morons saying that being anti-Islamofascist is racist; I don’t give a rat’s ass if they were all white and European. It’s their jihad I’m against, and I don’t care where they come from–that includes Jihad Johnny Walker Lindh, the white American. It also includes the white American and European moral relativists and politically correct who hate our way of life so much that they actively fight against it (from the comfort of their NY/California/Paris/Hamburg/London homes and dorms) by assisting the Islamonazi enemy that fights on the front lines for “the Caliphate.” The George Galloways of the world ARE enemy combatants, and there’s nothing “racist” about that.

Tony Blair got it exactly right here too:

And I think that the more I think about this type of phenomenon which we are dealing with and it is why I see this as a global threat that has to be handled at a number of different levels, including the level of ideas and ideology, as well as security measures, is that I think it has got some of the same characteristics as revolutionary communism, you know, in the sense that it has got an ideology, it is very extreme, that it can be used to engage young people at a certain level and in a certain way, it has got often the cells of it of a loose association with one another, but on the other hand they have got this ideology that binds them together, they know the types of places that they can go to to get the information and to try and stimulate this type of extremism and we have got to deal with it in a way that recognises that its roots are very deep, very extensive around the world, and you need to pull them up at the same time as dealing with all the rest of it.

This IS a World War, and it’s not about saying “our religion is better” or “our race is better.” It’s about our WAY OF LIFE and our security. The Islamists have said time and time again ad nauseum that their goal is to make the world and Islamic world, just as the communist USSR wanted to make the world a communist world. The only difference is that this war is far more widespread, and our enemy is far more dedicated to victory–and it is much more dangerous. I desperately WISH I could go fight the enemy. Since I physically cannot go fight, I’ll continue to fight with words and money.

I’m watching O’Reilly on Fox right now, and from the show, here’s a start: sign a petition to enforce border security at http://www.reformus.org. We HAVE to plug the holes in the border, not even so much for illegal Mexican laborers, but because of this war. Politically correct politics (fear of being called “racist”) have to stop taking priority over our national security.

Just as moderate Muslims need to HONESTLY reject terrorism and the Islamic “crusades” (not just pay lip service), those of us who are truly against the spread of Islamofascism and terror need to start dealing with it openly, without sacrificing security for fear of offending people. I’m sure Tony Blair offended some thin-skinned and intellectually dishonest people, but TOO BAD. You can’t speak inoffensively when you’re dead, or when you can’t speak freely at all.
