Just a thought

You know, since we’re being all PC and shi’ite, worrying about whether or not we’ll offend anyone by picking Arab men between certain ages to search at train and bus stations, and worrying about the implications of using the Bible for the oath in court, and worrying about crosses offending anyone…shouldn’t we also not allow women and girls to wear short skirts in public? Because you know, that might offend our pious Islamic friends…or worse

Sound unthinkable? Not to me. At the rate we’re going, I can see my daughter and myself being subjected to this by the time she’s a teenager. I wonder if my hypothetical granddaughters will be given the “option” whether or not they can get an education, because mandatory education for girls is against some people’s religion. You know, that is probably offending someone.

And why hasn’t the government mandated halal foods in the grocery stores, anyway???

Hey, now this is getting REALLY BAD if it leads to the banishment of short skirts - I just have to draw the line there!

Profiling? We all do it and would be fools not to. The Liberal PC train (engineered by your friendly neighborhood ACLU) just does NOT stop - not even for PUBLIC VIDEO CAMERAS.

According to the ACLU, they make us “less free-wheeling” and “self conscious.” So?

You know what strikes me as funny? One of the ACLU’s all-time SHINING MOMENTS was due to public video taping - the police beating of Rodney King! It seems to me the ACLU was singing public video PRAISES back then. Now, we can’t use technology to keep our citizenry safe, because it makes people “less free wheeling?”

Beth, thanks for the informative links and information. Until we can get rid of the loony left and various other groups, ie: The ACLU, we the true amercian citizens will be the mintority in this country, third in line from the muslims and mexicans.

I think all ugly women should be covered head to toe, using the Bible in court is obviously a violation of the separation of church and state, and having cameras everywhere is clearly a violation of my Second Amendment rights. I also hope Judith Miller gets five to life, that people who donate to PBS cannot take a tax deduction on it, and that all traffic fines be based on adjusted gross income (a person making $100,000 pays 1K a person making 20K pays $100), and that Islam be made an endangered species and moved to a national part where nobody can bother them.

I find it ironic that a conservative blog would be critisizing Muslims for having conservative values. But you are, of course, right on. If only Islam had some liberal traits, the world would be so much better off. Such is the value of liberalism.
