WEEKEND OPEN TRACKBACKS!
How about it, y’all?
Link to this post and send a trackback; your trackback link will show up in this post below (and will add a link to your ecosystem statistics).
If your blogging software doesn’t send trackbacks, use Wizbang’s Standalone Trackback form or Adam Kalsey’s Simpletracks (trackbacks) form.
For more information on trackbacks, see here and especially here.

I am just your humble friend and uneducated blogger so I have to admit here, that I really don’t know what a Trackback is. I already have a link to your blog on my blogrollm but I don’t understand what you’re talking about when you talk about trackbacks. Sorry if I am offending you by saying this.
mark maness says:
And I don’t know what a moderation que is either. forgive me for being a techno-moron.
Beth says:
Mark, if you go HERE, Harvey does a pretty good job of explaining what it’s all about. (Very) basically, it’s just a way of having your POST link show up on another blog to show you linked to their post. (Not the same as a link to a blog in a blogroll.)
The moderation queue is the holding area for comments that don’t go through right away, for whatever reason (too many links–spammers do this; certain spammy words, spammy URLs, etc.). When a comment goes to moderation, I have to either approve it, delete it, or mark it as “spam.” MOST of the stuff that goes into moderation here is spam, but words like ra pe, soc1ali$t, te en, po ke r, etc. will send a comment to moderation.
And…offending me by asking? Not at all, silly! (I’m hard pressed to think of much that offends me, anyway.) ;-)
