Can we get serious NOW?

All over the news, people are saying “they knew” some terrorist attack would happen in London sooner or later. (Need I link? Just look around.) Why is it, then, that so many British so bitterly oppose the war on terror? Will they look at it differently now, or will the people try to “understand” the terrorists and place the blame elsewhere? When will stupid political correctness take a back seat to security–meaning YES, profiling. Call it racist if you will; the only reason why people would be “racist” toward Arabs/Persians/whatever (Muslims) is because of the FACT that the overwhelming majority of terrorists are radical Muslims. Don’t blame ME if I look askance at an Arab boarding the same airplane I am, or getting on a bus with a backpack. It IS their fault.
Sure, there are moderate Muslims who publicly denounce terror and condemn the extremists, but they are FEW. Obviously, it’s not taboo or considered the antithesis of Islam, and the fault lies with those Muslims who remain silent.
Unless I know one personally to be a “good guy,” so to speak, I am suspicious. Too farkin’ bad. I’m not suspicious of all of them, but the fact is that I’m suspicious of those I don’t know. In fact, my daughter had an Afghani babysitter when we lived in Northern Virginia, and this was AFTER 9/11. I trusted her and her family, more than some of my other neighbors.
It’s LONG PAST time to quit blaming America and the West. THEY are the murderers, THEY are the terrorists, despite the bullshi’ite rhetoric of the Islamofascist apologists. And farkin’-A, Bill O’Reilly (whom I normally ignore) just said if you don’t blame the terrorists, you’re HELPING THEM. Damn right.
Because I am ANGRY, I’m wearing this today:

I hope some farkwit says some shi’ite to me about it, too.

I love the shirt! Britain is in our prayers.

It’s been my experience, personally and through observations, that people always turn on the victim and “try to understand the perp.” I don’t know if this is new or goes back millenia. I hate it, but I don’t know how to fix it. Ranting always feels good.
Hey, where do I get one of those shirts. I have to have one!!

NM…just clicked on the pic. I’m a blonde.

Good rant, Beth, and good points. While profiling has its place, we can’t ignore everybody else. You never know when some radical, Islammo-fascist, pedophile is going to promise some gray-haired granny her children and grandchildren will get their heads cut off if she doesn’t smuggle a bomb onto her plane.
But on the other hand, it’s freaking INSANE to pretend most terrorists aren’t Arab Muslims, too.
Fuckin’ BASTARDS! I freaking HATE them. If I get one of them in my crosshairs, there will be NO hesitation. And that makes me think I may need to work on “loving the sinner, hating the sin” a little bit more.
But in the MEANTIME; FARK those pedophile bastards! God, they piss me OFF!
mark maness says:
Beth, Does that shirt come with those bumps in the front?
Sorry, couldn’t resist.
My thoughts are we must sink to the level of the terrorists to defeat them because violence is the only thing they understand. As soon as we start taking their heads, most of those attacks will stop.
jody says:
Great job Beth… i might need to order an i heart Gitmo shirt…
Janette says:
Excellent rant. Ditto everything you said. I’m sick of being told that we can’t profile. WTF not? Because it might hurt someone’s feelings? Boo Hoo. Better to get a pat down than to be blown up in the subway or on a plane.
THE PEOPLE need to rebel and refuse to get on the damned plane or rail until they’re satisfied that it’s safe.

Oh yea, an eye for an eye. Great stuff. You must be a philosopher!

Bravo!
I guess the fuck-wits I get commenting on this are AFRAID to say anything to you!
Someone on my blogroll pointed me here, I’m glad I came; Now I know where to get the T-shirt.

Forcible Repatriation of Muslims
While there are without a doubt good Muslims, there do not exist too many Muslims who condemn terrorism committed in the name of their religion of Islam. It is time to get serious about Muslims and terrorism. Beth at MY…

Honestly I don’t believe all this bull about their being moderate muslims here or in Britain,we better watch them even more closely.they have infiltrated our government entities at all levels trying to turn this country into an Islamic state.they are good at hiding behind that facade, and then you have groups such as CAIR always crying and whining about being a victim of a hate crime when these same people always excuse the behaviors of their fellow muslims. They will not condemn because deep down these”moderates”have the same agenda, only they do it by stealth if you get my drift.:!:So unless these moderates get serious about this then I don’t want to hear anything they have to say period.
