Catching up!

I’ve got about 15 tabs open and a mountain of email I’m going through, but I have a bunch of things I need to catch up with here–and then back to that email.

First, thanks again to Gordon, who wrote a script that shows updates on terrorism incidents from the Religion of Peace! EMAIL me (or Gordon) if you want to put that script on your site! You can see it in the right sidebar under “other links” right now, but I might move it later.

As further proof of my apparent insanity, I’ve signed up to be in a documentary about bloggers! (eeek!) Even better, Spacemonkey has signed up IMAO. We’re gonna be famous! LOL
Check out the 59 Bloggers site; the documentary will feature 59 bloggers (duh) of all varieties. Here’s the list of who’s in, and here is where you go to volunteer yourself!
As Spacemonkey says, “w00t!

Don’t think I’ve gone all high-society with the Cotillion; I’m still Queen of the Bonfire! The latest Bonfire of the Vanities is up at The Ravings of John C. Bambanek!
Future stops on the Bonfire tour:
Week 101 (June 7) - Benedict
Week 102 (June 14) - Basil’s Blog
Week 103 (June 21) - Itsapundit (Evil Glenn is hosting the Bonfire?! WOW!)
(One of these times I’m just going to submit my whole blog…)

While we’re talking carnivals, back to IMAO, where the New Blog Showcase is up. Look for the Carnival of Comedy to be posted soon there as well!
Janette will be host(ess)ing the next New Blog Showcase, so if you have a blog less than three months old OR if you want to nominate a new blogger, see this.

Via The Anchoress, “BAH” at A Certain Slant of Light has written some wonderful lyrics for the Cotillion! Hey, we needed something to dance to! xoxoxo

Now then and with earnest apologies to Andrew Lloyd Webber, I simply couldn’t resist fiddling with his “Music of the Night” lyrics from “Phantom of the Opera” in honor of the assembled ladies of “The Cotillion.” Hope they like it! Trust they remember the music!

One more Cotillion note: Mary Katharine Ham, my old buddy from “Blogger Babes”, gave the Cotillion a big digital hug with her post at Townhall’s C-Log today, and we’re hoping she’ll come out and play with us! Thanks, Mary Katharine!

I almost forgot–for those of you who submitted questions for me to Jennifer (Jennifer’s History and Stuff) for The Interview (see? I am crazy), the answers are up.
And if you missed it, Janette’s interview was posted last week!

OK, today is White Trash Wednesday, but there’s not a chance I’m going to be able to get to it today. (Beulah Mae might make an appearance later on; it depends on what time she leaves her job at Hooter’s today. ) It’s taken me TWO HOURS just to write this post–school’s out here, Mama business has taken priority! Feel free to hit my other WTW posts in the meantime if you haven’t seen them before, and be sure to check out all the White Trash Wednesday bloggers today!
