I know it sucks that I haven’t had a site search here. I’ve wanted to use Google’s site search box, but the damn thing doesn’t fit anywhere…but lo and behold, basil posted how to get it to fit, based on Harvey’s instructions. (See? You need to read basil’s blog!) So now, you can do a site search here, finally, without having to go to Google to do it.
If you haven’t seen Harvey’s “Blogging Tips” tutorials, do go check them out. Even if you’ve been blogging for a while, you might find something you didn’t know (like the site search thing!). And there’s always something good (including the tutorials) in his “Blogging” category.

I’ll add another note that I haven’t seen in his tutorials. He wisely says to link to others and use trackbacks. I’ll say also that only linking to the Instapundit-types isn’t really going to help you much. REMEMBER the smaller blogs too–link to them as well. There are a zillion blogs trying to be heard, and many of them are extraordinarily good–they just haven’t been “marketed” enough to become bigger. I know I’ve linked to many new or undiscovered blogs that are FAR better than mine–embarrassingly so! Share the love, fer cryin’ out loud!

By the way, your searchbox is sticking out past your sidebar a little. You could probably make it fit a little better if you go to this line in the code:
INPUT TYPE=text name=q size=25 maxlength=250 value=”"
and change size=25 to size=20 (give or take)
