I think I may be just about the only person who thinks the Time cover version of the picture is pretty cool.

What’s wrong with the picture?… is it because it shows off her adams apple?

Sorry, I know that was snotty, but I can’t stand the woman. I don’t understand how the right stands behind a woman that condones domestic terrorists, demeans ever woman who has served in the military and risked their lives in defense of this country, and thinks that forced conversion to Christianity is perfectly ok.

    Hi Dingo,
Honestly, it’s because she’s funny, in a sarcastic way. Plus you just usually don’t hear people say the things she does in the media, especially women. She’s like P.J. O’Rourke, with claws. I suppose it’s kind of analagous to Al FrankenStein, you know? She doesn’t REALLY condone domestic terrorism or any of the other stuff you said; it’s just her way of making a point. Really. I’ve read enough of her to understand how it’s meant to be taken…but I can totally understand how it would be taken if you weren’t as familiar with her style. And that’s part of what makes her funny to us wingnuts–she gets liberals all apoplectic. YOU KNOW you love it when we get our noses out of joint about your people…hehehe

Fine! But only as long as it is for entertainment value and not ‘truth.’ I have to admit to listening to Franken every once in a while. But, Gerafelo… forget it. Even she turns my stomach.
