* The Anchoress - Everyone loves her, and with good reason! Wonderful writing about the Pope here and continuing. Having a bad day? Go read her and you’ll end up feeling better.
* Hog On Ice - Damn. Steve makes me sad, because he’s a “no single moms” type of guy AND he can cook real food ;-) (get the book–I might get one for a gift for someone, ’cause I hate cooking). How about some doughnuts and rectal impalement in the morning? (eeek!)
* basil’s blog - What can I say? Even if he weren’t in the top referrers list, I’d lie just to link him again. He’s got a new meme going, and as always, the best news headlines.

Malkin’s characterization of the MSM’s treatment of the Pope as “morbid, sullen, and mean” is just flat out wrong. I do not have cable, so all I watched was NBC, CBS, ABC and their covereage was nothing but honorable. Everyone kepts saying that John Paul II was the real deal and “one of the greatest figures in the 20th century”. There simply was no ill treatment of him. Its just not true. I don’t know why she would say that, but its definitely innacurate. I am Catholic and watched the coverage with great interest. I saw nothing but kudos for our beloved Pope on every channel.
