It’s “Crystal Clear” to me too
…although I don’t feel so forgiving of the DEAFENING SILENCE from the supposedly conservative Big Bloggers™ regarding the Terri Schiavo case. Obviously, OBVIOUSLY, I overestimated SOME bloggers’ commitment to making a difference!
What would Instapundit, Powerline, Michelle Malkin, Captain’s Quarters, and Hugh Hewitt and all the illustrious others who blogged about Rathergate and Easongate find interesting and blog-worthy about Terri Schiavo and the fight for her life? I believe just what LaShawn Barber, Dean’s World and the entire blogosphere blogging on issues and events of social and political relevance find worthy of spending time at our computers for: getting all the facts out, holding people accountable, and sharing the truth and our opinions on the facts.
Speaking up in the fight for Terri’s life doesn’t have to mean joining the blogroll and committing to posting daily (although of course that would be wonderful and greatly appreciated!). It can be as simple as a phone call, single post or comment of fact(s) in this saga…
Note that Powerline and Captain’s Quarters have even written about Terri Schiavo in the past–in the distant past. Note that I have also emailed ALL OF THE ABOVE aforementioned bloggers literally begging for them to write SOMETHING. La Shawn Barber did, Dean Esmay did (and I didn’t even ask him), and David Limbaugh did. Also note that none of these three are spending all their time on the Eason Jordan post-mortem mutual masturbation.
Yes, I AM pissed. Terri Schiavo stands to face execution, to put it bluntly, in TWO DAYS. There are over a hundred blogs writing furiously about it. CERTAINLY one of the Big Bloggers™ must have read something from one of our blogs, especially La Shawn Barber or Dean Esmay…?
I am MOST DISAPPOINTED WITH HUGH HEWITT. YES, YOU MR. HEWITT, author of a book that praises the power of the blogosphere.
Maybe I’ll email the link to this post to them, although I doubt it will be read. Feel free to send it to them yourselves; I don’t care if they think I’m a little nobody “large mammal” bitch. I’m not in the non-business of blogging for their benefit.

Thanks so very much for the trackback…I don’t know if Higher Beings and other high traffic bloggers read other blogs but I bet they do get around to their email… I am honestly curious to see their opinions and thoughts regarding the similarities in all these cases regarding the MSM and the NEED for the ACTUAL FACTS to get out via BLOGS!!!!Attention via a link to my post might be just the way..Hmmm I think I will go email them a link to my own post!!!

Still monkeying around on the Eason Jordan issue and other such nonsense such as Ward Churchill(do either one of these people really deserve so much attention) when an innocent life is at stake is indefensible. I agree with Beth’s description of their mutual exercise. I have to admit that I, like all of you, have been wondering where our fearless leaders are when we need them.
They no longer can claim that it is the MSM that turns the blind eye. So we now have numerous one-eyed men looking the other way from an innocent woman who desperatly needs their help.
The solution to the problem is that more bloggers write more posts with a targeted focus. That is the deck we’ve been dealt, and we don’t want to join those guys in that exercise Beth spoke of!
