Wictory Wednesday!

Today, there was a brief article in the Miami Herald about the political impact of the four hurricanes Florida has endured in the last two months. Having gotten through one (Ivan) here, albeit relatively unscathed, I have seen the kind of devastation that happens–and Alabama only got ONE. I’m not exaggerating, this kind of thing completely takes over people’s entire lives, leaving little to (more often) no room for political ponderings.

Of course, who can forget the election of 2000 and the Florida mess? Florida is hanging in the balance again–and I can’t imagine the people there are spending much time working on the election, even Governor Jeb Bush. Unlike a certain lardass miserable failure and his legion of slack-jawed morons), WE can’t all road-trip down to Florida to help out with the Bush campaign. (Well, actually I do plan to go next month, but I only live a short drive away.) SO…go to the Republican Party of Florida website and if you live near Florida or are planning a trip there anyway, sign up to volunteer. Otherwise, go to the site and DONATE! As Hugh Hewitt advised in his book (Crushing the Democrats) “Give until it hurts”!!! By the way, he has links up today to donate to GOP Senate campaigns.

Finally, it’s time to get your yard signs up! Go to your nearest GOP headquarters, or get one online (they’re very inexpensive)! The first debate is tomorrow–show your support!
