So far…
Oh, shut up already.

‘Debate Response Team’
Now we know how John Kerry plans to “win” tonight’s debate. We received an e-mail this afternoon from Terry McAuliffe, chairman of the Democratic National Committee, on behalf of the DNC’s “debate response team.” Recipients are urged to help the campaign spin the debate:
“National and local news organizations will be conducting online polls during and after the debate asking for readers’ opinions. Look for online polls at these national news websites, and make sure to vote in every one of them.”
“Immediately after the debate, go online and write a letter to the editor of your local paper. If you feel John Kerry commanded the debate and had a clear plan for fixing the mess in Iraq, put it in your letter. If you feel George Bush dodged tough questions on Iraq and didn’t level with voters, put it in your letter.”
“Do you listen to national or local call-in shows on the radio? How about on TV? Call them and let them know what you thought of John Kerry’s plan to keep America secure and George Bush’s continuing refusal to admit the truth about his record.”
“Your actions immediately after the debate tonight can help John Kerry win on November 2,” the e-mail says. Do these guys really think such cheerleading is what wins presidential elections?
Sounds like a good idea. For US.
(BTW, I had already carpet-bombed an email letter of my own to 33 different media outlets. Bush supporters don’t need the likes of Ratboy McAuliffe to tell us to do such a thing.)
Kerry says that Bush didn’t use war as the LAST resort.
My question: To what point does a situation get, before war is considered THE “last resort,” and becomes acceptable to John Kerry? Do we have to wait until we are attacked?
Does ANYONE doubt that Saddam would eventually arm those who would attack us, considering Saddam’s army had been firing upon our aircraft (patrolling the no-fly zone per the ceasefire)for the previous 12 years? Is that not in itself considered an attack? If North Korean or Iranian–or French, for that matter–troops repeatedly fired upon our aircraft for twelve years, wouldn’t we consider THAT an act of war?
DELIBERATE avoidance of the question (what are the plans, timeline, etc.)!!!!!!!!!
Kerry: “blah blah blah” (memorized lines) “Help is on the way.” (???–I thought his convention speech was over already?) Criticism, no concrete solutions.
BROUGHT UP Vietnam! “They (troops) don’t have to die for a mistake”…with him? LOL
Annoying, nervous twitch gesturing.
Sucking up to Eurotrash & UN, ignoring coalition countries; we don’t have a “genuine coalition.”
Claims to be able to change N. Korea, etc. with WMD disarmament. (No explanation how, naturally.)
“Misled American people…”
“I’ve worked with those leaders for over 20 years, I know how to bring them back to the table.”
“I would have preferred to use more diplomacy.”
Vietnam. AGAIN.
Bush: Actual, thoughtful responses to the topic! “What kind of message does that send to our troops?” “He says help is on the way, but he voted against the 87 million dollars!”
“I know we won’t succeed if we send the wrong message…” (i.e. Kerry’s “Coalition of Coerced”; “Wrong Place, Wrong Time, Wrong War”; flip-flopping on Iraq based on polls)
“Osama bin Laden doesn’t get to decide how we defend ourselves”
“I don’t think he was misleading” when he said Saddam was a threat and had to be defeated.
“Only thing consistent about my opponent is that his position has been inconsistent.”
Oh, forget blogging this. You surely must be seeing the same thing I am. Kerry’s an idiot and is just saying his memorized lines, and making himself look even more phony.
I can see already…just as predicted, this is going to be a press conference/speech forum–at least for Hanoi John F’ing Kerry…
What happened to the orange??? My guess: Dermablend.

Vote121 Toolbar Features Blogs For Bush
I was recently informed by 121 Communications, Inc. that their new election information toolbar, “The Vote121 toolbar” has chosen Blogs For Bush as one the featured blogs.
The toolbar is a free service they’re providing “to try to get as much issue-news into the hands of voters” their blog list and RSS reader is one of the highlights of the toolbar.
The purpose of the toolbar is to “help undecided voters make up their minds, and help those who have already made up their minds have better fodder for their arguments.”
I have been assured that there is no spyware or tracking done from the toolbar.

I had to post this; definitely a Darwin Awards contender.
The Washington Dispatch: “John Kerry Redux: Protesting Another American War “
It takes little research to understand the mindset of John Kerry. His words from the past can display what he believes, and showcase what he may do as a leader when difficult times hit as America fights a unwanted war against radical Islam that is only in its infancy. The going has been tough in Iraq, and John Kerry has reverted to his days as a war protestor, only looking for easy excuses to avoid confronting the enemy.
John O’Sullivan on Iraq & Vietnam on National Review Online
I found this a YEAR late, but if you missed it too, it’s worth reading or repeating.
For all you Vietnam Veterans who served proudly (unlike Hanoi John), THANK YOU.
A quote from the article:
Both the media and the Democrats seem to have convinced themselves that Iraq is turning into another Vietnam — namely, a quagmire in which U.S. soldiers struggle vainly to defeat guerrilla forces that enjoy popular support against a foreign occupation.
That is a false picture on two grounds. First, Iraq is not turning into another Vietnam. And, second, Vietnam itself is not accurately portrayed by the “quagmire” thesis. Indeed, if Vietnam is to be the comparison of first resort in whatever conflict the U.S. finds itself, we need a better understanding of its general significance.
…U.S. intervention in Vietnam was a major factor is achieving the West’s overall victory in the Cold War. It held the line while freedom and prosperity were established in non-Communist Asia — and that provided the rest of the world, including the evil empire itself, with a “demonstration effect” of how freedom led to prosperity.
Today, there was a brief article in the Miami Herald about the political impact of the four hurricanes Florida has endured in the last two months. Having gotten through one (Ivan) here, albeit relatively unscathed, I have seen the kind of devastation that happens–and Alabama only got ONE. I’m not exaggerating, this kind of thing completely takes over people’s entire lives, leaving little to (more often) no room for political ponderings.
Of course, who can forget the election of 2000 and the Florida mess? Florida is hanging in the balance again–and I can’t imagine the people there are spending much time working on the election, even Governor Jeb Bush. Unlike a certain lardass miserable failure and his legion of slack-jawed morons), WE can’t all road-trip down to Florida to help out with the Bush campaign. (Well, actually I do plan to go next month, but I only live a short drive away.) SO…go to the Republican Party of Florida website and if you live near Florida or are planning a trip there anyway, sign up to volunteer. Otherwise, go to the site and DONATE! As Hugh Hewitt advised in his book (Crushing the Democrats) “Give until it hurts”!!! By the way, he has links up today to donate to GOP Senate campaigns.
Finally, it’s time to get your yard signs up! Go to your nearest GOP headquarters, or get one online (they’re very inexpensive)! The first debate is tomorrow–show your support!
GeorgeWBush.com :: President Bush Says No Draft
John Kerry is using the draft to scare young voters and veterans.
During campaign stops, John Kerry has worked to scare voters by suggesting that President Bush will initiate a draft. “If George Bush were to be re-elected, given the way he has gone about this war and given his avoidance of responsibility in North Korea and Iran and other places, is [a draft] possible? I can’t tell you.” (John Kerry, September 22, 2004)
