"Below is proof that suggests that Kerry received less than an honorable discharge at the completion of his obligation in February 1972. These items are:
1. Link to Kerry's Discharge issued six years late in 1968 which recites 10 U.S.C. §§ 1162 and 1163 which covers situations of discharges less than honorable and which recites an action before a board of officers under § 1163. This is taken from Kerry's own web site (PDF).
2. 10 U.S.C. § 1163 as it existed in the 1970's (since repealed) as in effect from 1956 through 1994 (recited in full below).
3. Sample case of Carter v. Seamans which discusses a less than honorable discharge given to an officer and cites 10 U.S.C. § 1163 (included at the bottom of this message).
As we are aware, the political climate changed and Carter granted amnesty to draft dogers after he came in office."
